After knee replacement, a December solo show, Christmas, New Years and other health complications, I am finally back to painting and thinking about art a little bit! I finished up some abstracts that I really like and will share them with you as I get it done. The one I liked best was done on Yupo, so it has a real glow about it. It is totally watercolor, of course, being on Yupo. It was a "flow" painting, just taking it as it came and seeing where it lead me. It was such fun to do, and I loved the outcome. Since we are going to Egypt before too long, I call it "Ancient Marks." Think I'll see lots of them there!
Jo, this is an interesting piece of work. But may I suggest that with what's been going on over there lately, that "before too long" might not be the best time to go to Egypt.
